General Zod

General Zod is a desirable minifigure for collectors due to his status as a prominent Superman villain and his imposing design. The detailed printing on his torso, including the Zod emblem and muscular physique, adds to his visual appeal. The angry expression and goatee on the head print capture the character's menacing personality.

As a key antagonist in the Superman mythos, Zod's minifigure is a must-have for DC Comics and Superman fans. The figure's relative scarcity, appearing in only one set, further enhances its collectibility. Condition is always important, with figures in mint condition commanding a premium.

General Zod's rarity is moderate, stemming from his inclusion in only one set, the 'Superman: Metropolis Showdown' (76002-1) released in 2013. While not a limited edition or promotional item, his limited availability makes him less common than minifigures appearing in multiple sets. Aftermarket availability is consistent, but prices can fluctuate based on condition and completeness. The set's retirement contributes to the minifigure's increasing scarcity over time.
