Homer Simpson with Name Badge

Homer Simpson with Name Badge is an absolute must-have for fans of Springfield's most famous nuclear safety inspector and lovers of licensed LEGO themes alike. What makes this particular variant so special is its exclusivity to a single, massive direct-to-consumer set, meaning you couldn't just casually pick him up in a impulse-buy box at the local toy store. His iconic white shirt, skinny red tie, and crucial ID badge print capture his everyday working look at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant to absolute perfection.

Collectors hunting for this figure should pay close attention to condition, especially checking the crispness of the name badge print on the torso and ensuring the dual-molded arms and yellow hands show no signs of cracking or discoloration. Because the theme had a relatively brief run and has long since retired, finding this specific work-attire version in pristine condition has become a rewarding challenge for completionists looking to build out the ultimate Springfield display.

Rarity is a major selling point for this version of Homer, as he only ever appeared in one legendary, retirement-status set from the theme's initial launch. Because he was locked behind a premium-tier, large-scale build rather than being spread across budget-friendly waves or collectible series bags, his overall circulation in the wild is notably lower than casual Homer variants.

As years pass since the set's departure from store shelves, complete specimens with all their original component parts—including the signature medium blue pants and specially printed head—are increasingly tucked away in private collections.
