Sandspeeder Pilot, Dark Red Helmet

The Sandspeeder Pilot with the Dark Red Helmet is a desirable minifigure for Star Wars collectors, particularly those focused on the Rebel pilots. The dark red helmet is a relatively uncommon color for Rebel pilot helmets, making this minifigure stand out from the more common orange or yellow variants. The detailed printing on the torso and legs, representing the flight suit, adds to its appeal.

Minifigures from the Star Wars universe, especially those associated with specific vehicles or battles, tend to hold collector interest. Condition is important, so collectors will look for figures with minimal wear on the printing and helmet.

This minifigure appeared exclusively in the Sandspeeder set (75204-1) released in 2018. While not a limited edition or promotional item, its single set appearance contributes to its relative scarcity on the aftermarket. The set has been retired, meaning no new units are being produced, which can slowly increase the demand and value of the minifigure over time.
