Imperial Transport Pilot / Athex

The Imperial Transport Pilot, also known as Athex, is a desirable minifigure for Star Wars collectors due to his unique helmet design and association with the imposing Darth Vader's Castle set. The blue markings on the helmet distinguish him from standard Stormtroopers and other Imperial pilots, making him a visually appealing addition to any Imperial army or Star Wars minifigure display.

Collectors often seek out minifigures that represent specialized roles within the Star Wars universe, and the Imperial Transport Pilot fits this category perfectly. His exclusivity to a single, now-retired set further enhances his desirability. Condition is key for collectors; look for figures with pristine printing and no cracks or scratches on the helmet.

This minifigure appears exclusively in one set: Darth Vader's Castle (75251-1), which was released in 2018 and is now retired. This single set appearance contributes to his relative rarity compared to more common Stormtrooper variants that appear in numerous sets. While not a limited edition or regional exclusive, the retirement of the set means that new copies of this minifigure are no longer being produced, increasing scarcity on the aftermarket.
