Anakin Skywalker, Transformation, White Pupils

The Anakin Skywalker (Transformation, White Pupils) minifigure is a highly sought-after piece, primarily due to its depiction of a pivotal moment in the Star Wars saga: Anakin's transformation into Darth Vader. The minifigure captures the scarred and conflicted state of Anakin during his fateful encounter with Obi-Wan Kenobi on Mustafar. Collectors appreciate the detailed printing on the torso and head, showcasing the burns and injuries sustained in the battle.

The white pupils are a particularly striking feature, representing the influence of the dark side and his descent into becoming Darth Vader. This minifigure is not just a representation of a character, but a symbol of a tragic turning point, making it a valuable addition to any Star Wars minifigure collection. The exclusivity of this minifigure to a single, now retired set, further amplifies its desirability among collectors.

This minifigure appeared in only one set, the Darth Vader Transformation (75183-1), which was released in 2017 and has since been retired. This limited availability significantly contributes to its rarity. While not a regional exclusive, the single set appearance means that the number of these minifigures in circulation is finite and decreasing as sets are lost, damaged, or parted out. The aftermarket availability is moderate, but prices are generally higher than average for a standard minifigure, reflecting its desirable nature and scarcity.
