Astromech Droid, R4-P22 / Q7-Series

R4-P22, with its distinctive red markings, is a desirable astromech droid for Star Wars LEGO collectors. Astromech droids are always popular, and R4-P22's unique color scheme helps it stand out from the more common blue and white droids. Completing a collection of astromech droids is a common goal, making this minifigure a sought-after piece.

The condition of the printed elements, particularly the dome, is crucial for its collectibility. Scratches or fading can significantly impact its value. As a character who played a role in the Clone Wars, fans of the animated series and the prequel era will be especially interested in acquiring this droid.

R4-P22 appeared in only two LEGO sets, both of which have been retired for several years. This limited availability contributes to its relative rarity on the aftermarket. While not the rarest astromech, it's less common than R2-D2 or R5-D4, making it a more challenging find for collectors. Its inclusion in Anakin's Custom Jedi Starfighter (75087-1) adds to its appeal, as that set is also quite popular.
