Jace Malcom

Jace Malcom is a standout treasure from LEGO's brief and celebrated exploration into the Star Wars: The Old Republic Expanded Universe in 2012. Best known to fans as the fearless Havoc Squad commander who tackled Darth Malgus head-on in the iconic 'Hope' cinematic trailer, Malcom holds a legendary status among gamers and Expanded Universe collectors alike.

This minifigure features highly detailed and exclusive printing that captures his rugged, battle-tested appearance. The torso showcases specialized Republic Trooper body armor complete with a tactical knife sheath on the chest, paired with distinct dark red arms and black hands. His head print is unmistakable, featuring heavy stubble and the massive battle scar over his eye that he famously earned during the Battle of Alderaan.

Because LEGO produced only a handful of sets based on BioWare's MMO before the franchise transitioned into the Disney canon era, Old Republic minifigures enjoy dedicated collector demand. When looking for this figure, verify that the white torso and leg elements show no signs of sun fading or yellowing, and check that the detailed scar printing on the face remains crisp and unrubbed.

Jace Malcom is an exclusive minifigure that was only produced in a single set: the 2012 Republic Striker-class Starfighter (9497). The set was retired after a standard production window, meaning the supply of Malcom figures has been strictly capped for well over a decade.

With Disney classifying The Old Republic storyline as 'Legends,' the likelihood of LEGO ever revisiting or reprinting this character is exceptionally low. Consequently, complete and pristine copies on secondary marketplaces such as BrickLink and eBay are increasingly scarce.
