Lieutenant Matthias

Lieutenant Matthias is a unique and desirable minifigure due to his exclusive appearance in the LEGO Frozen II theme. Collectors are drawn to his distinctive sand green uniform, detailed facial printing, and the overall aesthetic that fits well within the broader world of LEGO minidolls. His inclusion in only one set makes him a relatively scarce character to acquire.

The character's role in the Frozen II story adds to his appeal, as fans of the franchise often seek to complete their collections with all the key characters. The quality of the printing and the unique color scheme of his outfit also make him visually appealing, increasing his collectibility among those who appreciate well-designed minifigures.

Lieutenant Matthias's rarity is moderate, as he only appears in the Enchanted Treehouse set (41164-1). This set, released in 2019 and now retired, was the sole source for obtaining this minifigure. While not a limited edition or promotional item, his exclusivity to a single, retired set contributes to his increasing scarcity on the aftermarket. Finding him in pristine condition can be challenging, which further affects his desirability among serious collectors.
