Rapunzel - Dark Brown Top, Dark Purple Dress, Bows in Hair

Hey fellow collectors! If you are hunting for Disney Princess variants, this particular version of Rapunzel is a fantastic find for your collection. While technically a minidoll rather than a standard minifigure, she features a delightful design that captures the adventurous spirit of Tangled: The Series. What makes her truly pop in a display are those wonderful dual-colored bows in her iconic long French-braided bright light yellow hair—the magenta and lavender accessories add a charming touch you won't find on every Rapunzel variant.

Condition is everything when tracking down this piece, especially since she has several smaller elements. You will want to inspect the printed dark purple skirt and the unique dark brown shirt with lavender lapels carefully for any scratches or play wear. Because she only made a single appearance in a mid-sized set back in 2018, finding one with crisp face printing showing her cheerful green eyes and freckles in pristine condition is becoming increasingly challenging for completionists.

When we look at the market data for this specific Rapunzel, her rarity is firmly tied to a single-set distribution model. She was exclusively released in the 2018 set 41157-1, 'Rapunzel's Travelling Caravan,' which has been retired for quite some time now. Single-set exclusives from licensed themes like Disney always tend to climb in aftermarket demand once children outplay with them and parents donate or part out the sets.

Because she was only available in that one box, the pool of complete figures in circulation is naturally limited compared to heavily recycled characters. Market data shows that finding loose, complete versions with all hair bows and accessories intact requires a bit of patience, making her a sneaky little prize for theme completionists who missed out during her initial retail run.

Evaluating the investment potential of this minidoll reveals a very healthy outlook for Disney Princess and Tangled collectors. Disney sets historically hold their value remarkably well after retirement, and unique outfit variants featuring distinct hair styling and accessories always carry a premium among dedicated character collectors.

Given that she is tied to a retired set and represents a specific animated series era for the character, demand remains steady. While she might not reach the astronomical heights of rare Star Wars or superhero exclusives, she is a solid B+ investment piece that will steadily appreciate as sealed sets dry up and collectors turn to the secondary market to fill gaps in their Disney lineups.
