Obi-Wan Kenobi, Old, Yellow Skin, Light Bluish Gray Hair (3626b Head)

The Old Obi-Wan Kenobi minifigure from the original Mos Eisley Cantina set holds a special place in the hearts of LEGO Star Wars collectors. Released in 2004, it represents a key character in a pivotal scene from 'A New Hope.' The minifigure’s design, featuring a classic yellow skin tone and light bluish gray hair, evokes a sense of nostalgia for older LEGO Star Wars sets. The detailed torso print, depicting Obi-Wan's simple robes, adds to its appeal.

This minifigure is desirable because it represents a significant moment in the Star Wars saga. Many adult collectors seek to complete their collections of iconic characters. Condition is a major consideration; well-preserved figures with minimal wear command higher prices.

This Obi-Wan Kenobi minifigure appeared in only two versions of the Mos Eisley Cantina set (4501-1 and 4501-2), both released in 2004. While not a limited edition in the strictest sense, the relatively short production run and the age of the sets contribute to its scarcity on the aftermarket. Finding one in excellent condition can be challenging, as many have been played with or exposed to sunlight over the years. The set's retirement means the only way to acquire this minifigure is through secondary markets.
