Bib Fortuna, Closed Mouth

The Bib Fortuna minifigure with the closed mouth is a sought-after piece for Star Wars and minifigure collectors alike. Its unique head mold and distinctive printing capture the character's memorable design from Return of the Jedi. As Jabba the Hutt's majordomo, Bib Fortuna plays a pivotal role in the film, making this minifigure a desirable addition to any Star Wars collection.

This particular version, released in 2003, holds nostalgic appeal for collectors who grew up with the early LEGO Star Wars sets. Mint condition figures with undamaged printing and accessories command a premium, highlighting the importance of careful storage and handling.

This Bib Fortuna minifigure appeared exclusively in the 'Jabba's Message' set released in 2003. Given that this was its only appearance, the minifigure's rarity is tied to the availability and condition of this retired set. While not exceedingly rare, finding this minifigure in excellent condition can be challenging due to its age.

The set's limited production run further contributes to the minifigure's scarcity on the aftermarket. While not a regional exclusive, its single set appearance ensures a relatively limited supply compared to figures appearing in multiple sets.
