Shredder with Dark Blue Cape (2014 Movie)

The 2014 Movie Shredder minifigure with Dark Blue Cape is a sought-after piece for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) collectors. Its unique flat silver helmet with a trident shape and face mask, combined with the dark blue cape, makes it visually striking and distinct from other Shredder minifigures. The layered armor printing on the torso and legs adds to its detailed appearance, making it desirable for display.

Character popularity plays a significant role in its collectibility. Shredder is the main antagonist in the TMNT universe, making him an essential addition to any TMNT minifigure collection. The minifigure's condition is also crucial; collectors often seek figures with minimal wear on the printing and undamaged accessories to preserve their value.

This version of Shredder appeared exclusively in the 'Turtle Lair Invasion' set (79117-1), which was retired. This single set appearance contributes to its relative rarity compared to minifigures that appear in multiple sets. While not a regional exclusive, the limited production run of the set means that this Shredder is less common on the aftermarket than some other TMNT minifigures.
