Lots-o'-Huggin' Bear

Lots-o'-Huggin' Bear (Lotso) is one of the most distinctive and memorable figures from LEGO's 2010 Disney Pixar Toy Story line. Introduced alongside Toy Story 3, Lotso features an entirely custom-molded magenta torso and head combined with articulated bigfig-style arms, accurately capturing his plush, rotund silhouette from the film.

As the primary antagonist of Toy Story 3, Lotso holds a special place in Pixar lore. His charming exterior masking a bitter, authoritarian personality makes him one of Disney's most iconic modern villains. Because LEGO created dedicated molds solely for this character rather than using standard minifigure parts, he stands out dramatically in any Disney or Toy Story collection.

Condition is paramount for Lotso figures. The magenta plastic and light magenta muzzle/belly printing can easily show scuffs and paint transfer if played with roughly. The arm sockets are also prone to loosening over time, making tight-jointed, mint-condition specimens especially prized by collectors.

Lotso is exceptionally scarce because he was only released in a single System set: 2010's 7789 Lotso's Dump Truck. While the set was relatively budget-friendly upon release, the Toy Story line had a brief production window, retiring soon after the film's theatrical release cycle ended.

Dedicated molds for major licensed villains always carry high investment appeal, and Lotso is no exception. With LEGO rarely revisiting the classic Toy Story license outside of the 4+ sets produced for Toy Story 4 (which did not feature Lotso), secondary market demand remains steady among Disney completists and Pixar enthusiasts. Mint condition figures command a significant premium over their original set MSRP.
