Duke Caboom

Duke Caboom burst onto the scene in Pixar's Toy Story 4 as Canada's greatest stuntman, voiced memorably by Keanu Reeves. This minifigure perfectly captures the retro 1970s aesthetic of the daredevil toy, featuring a detailed torso print complete with a Canadian maple leaf belt buckle, red piping along the legs, and a specialized spongy stretch-fabric red cape.

What makes this minifigure particularly attractive to collectors is its complete exclusivity. Duke Caboom was only produced for a single 4+ set in 2019 (Duke Caboom's Stunt Show, 10767). The expressive facial print featuring his thick eyebrows and trademark handlebar moustache is entirely unique to this figure, making it an essential piece for completing a full Toy Story or Pixar minifigure collection.

Condition is a crucial factor for this figure. Because it was released exclusively in a Juniors / 4+ set aimed at very young builders, many copies were heavily played with, resulting in fraying or lost red capes, scratched trans-red visors, or scuffed white printing. Finding a pristine, collector-grade example with a mint cape and unblemished helmet assembly has become increasingly difficult on the secondary market.

Duke Caboom is a genuinely scarce figure within the LEGO Disney/Pixar portfolio. Appearing in just one retail set (10767) that retired after a standard production run, there are no alternate variants, polybags, or promotional releases of the character.

Because 4+ sets suffer from lower collector purchase rates compared to standard system sets, fewer copies of this minifigure were preserved in adult collector vaults. As time passes from the release of Toy Story 4, complete authentic units in mint condition are steadily decreasing in aftermarket supply.

From an investment standpoint, Duke Caboom carries strong potential among Pixar enthusiasts and Keanu Reeves memorabilia collectors. Single-appearance Disney/Pixar side characters with high personality often outpace expectations on the secondary market once their parent sets retire, mirroring the performance of earlier niche Toy Story figures.

While not possessing the explosive mass-market demand of flagship Star Wars or Marvel figures, Duke's cult popularity and unique parts assortment provide a very solid price floor with steady long-term appreciation prospects.
