🏆 Collectibility Analysis

Collectibility Notes

Private Puffer is a unique and eye-catching minifigure from the LEGO NINJAGO theme, specifically the Shark Army sub-theme. Collectors are drawn to his distinctive orange puffer fish helmet, which is a molded piece exclusive to this character. The combination of the fish helmet with the military-style vest and angry expression creates a memorable and somewhat humorous design.

The Shark Army characters have a dedicated following among NINJAGO fans, and Private Puffer stands out due to his unusual appearance. This makes him a desirable addition to any NINJAGO minifigure collection. As a character from a retired set, his availability is limited, further increasing his appeal to collectors.

Rarity Analysis

Private Puffer appears exclusively in the NINJAGO City Docks set (70657-1), which was retired in 2018. This single set appearance makes him relatively rare compared to minifigures found in multiple sets. While not a limited edition or promotional item, his exclusivity to a higher-priced, now-retired set contributes to his scarcity on the aftermarket. Finding him in excellent condition, with all accessories, will be a key factor for serious collectors.
