Rubeus Hagrid, Reddish Brown Overcoat

The Rubeus Hagrid minifigure with the Reddish Brown Overcoat is a desirable piece for Harry Potter collectors due to its unique molded body, representing Hagrid's larger size. This figure accurately captures the friendly half-giant's appearance from the early movies, making it instantly recognizable. The detailed facial print and bushy hair/beard piece add to its appeal.

Collectors value minifigures that represent key characters, and Hagrid is undoubtedly a central figure in the Harry Potter universe. The condition of the minifigure, especially the printed torso and head, is important to maintain its value. Complete figures with all original parts are always preferred.

This version of Hagrid appears in only two sets, both of which were retired some time ago. This limited availability contributes to its relative scarcity on the aftermarket. While not the rarest Harry Potter minifigure overall, its specific design and the limited number of sets it appears in make it harder to find than more common characters. Its availability is mostly constrained to secondary markets such as Bricklink and eBay.
