Ronin with Scabbard

The Ronin minifigure from the Ninjago theme is a sought-after piece, especially for collectors focused on completing the Ninjago lineup. Its unique blend of mechanical and traditional ninja elements, alongside the distinctive dark orange hair and reddish-brown eyepatch, make it visually appealing and easily recognizable. The scabbard is also a very unique piece for the Ninjago theme, as most ninjas carry their weapons on their backs.

The character's role in the Ninjago storyline as a morally ambiguous figure adds to his appeal. Collectors often seek out minifigures with interesting backstories or unique designs, and Ronin ticks both boxes. Mint condition figures with all accessories are particularly desirable.

This Ronin minifigure is considered moderately rare due to its limited availability. It only appears in one retired set, the Salvage M.E.C. (70592-1) from 2016. This single set appearance contributes to its higher value on the aftermarket compared to minifigures found in multiple sets.

While not a regional exclusive or limited edition, the fact that the set is now retired means that new, sealed versions are no longer being produced, further increasing the rarity of the minifigure over time. Its availability on the aftermarket depends on the overall demand for Ninjago minifigures from that era.
