Shark Army Gunner / Charlie

The Shark Army Gunner, also known as Charlie, is a desirable minifigure for Ninjago collectors due to its unique design and association with the villainous Shark Army. The distinctive shark-themed head print, complete with eyebrows, goatee, light beard, and a scar, gives this minifigure a menacing and memorable appearance. The scuba suit torso with detailed printing further enhances its appeal.

As a character from the popular Ninjago Movie subtheme, this minifigure benefits from the overall popularity of the Ninjago franchise. The high level of detail and the relative scarcity due to its inclusion in only three sets make it a sought-after addition to any Ninjago minifigure collection. Condition is always a key factor, with figures in excellent condition commanding higher prices.

This minifigure appears in only three LEGO sets, all of which were released in 2017 and have since been retired. While not a limited edition or promotional item, its limited availability across a small number of sets contributes to its relative rarity on the aftermarket. It's not considered a regional exclusive, but the retirement of the sets means that new copies are no longer being produced, increasing its collectibility over time. The sets it appears in range from mid-sized to the very large NINJAGO City set, meaning it was accessible to a wide range of budgets, but also spread out over different price points.
