Kai (Skybound)

The Kai (Skybound) minifigure is desirable for Ninjago collectors due to its unique Skybound-era attire. The Skybound storyline was popular, making minifigures from this theme appealing. This version of Kai features a distinctive black robe with red trim and a scar across his left eye, setting it apart from other Kai minifigures.

Condition is always a key factor for collectors. Mint condition figures with undamaged printing command higher prices. Completeness, including the wrap accessory, also affects value. Collectors often seek out figures from specific Ninjago seasons or storylines, making this Skybound variant particularly attractive.

This version of Kai appears in only two sets, both released in 2016 and now retired. This limited availability contributes to its relative rarity compared to more common Kai variants that appear in numerous sets across multiple years. While not a regional exclusive, the finite production run of the sets containing this minifigure makes it a moderately scarce find on the aftermarket.
