Shark Army Thug

The Shark Army Thug is a desirable minifigure for Ninjago collectors, especially those focused on completing the villainous factions from the movie. Its unique head print, featuring a brown stubble beard, dark brown eyepatch, and freckles, combined with the knitted cap, gives it a distinctive look within the Shark Army ranks.

The minifigure's wetsuit torso with utility belt and pouches print, along with the kneepad-printed legs, add to its appeal. As a character from the popular Ninjago movie, it provides a tangible connection to the broader Ninjago universe, making it sought after by fans of the theme.

This Shark Army Thug appears in only two sets, both of which were released in 2017 and are now retired. This limited availability contributes to its relative scarcity on the aftermarket compared to minifigures appearing in numerous sets or those still in production.

While not a limited edition or regional exclusive, the fact that it's tied to retired sets makes it more challenging to acquire, increasing its desirability among collectors aiming for a complete collection of Ninjago Movie minifigures.
