Royal Guard, Dark Red Hands, 50231 Cape

The Royal Guard minifigure is a desirable addition to any Star Wars collection, especially for fans of the Emperor and the Imperial forces. Its striking red color scheme, combined with the flowing cape and unique helmet mold, makes it instantly recognizable. The dark red hands are a specific feature that distinguishes this version.

Collectors often seek out Royal Guards to populate scenes from the Death Star or to display alongside other Imperial characters. The minifigure's association with iconic scenes and its visually appealing design contribute to its collectibility. Condition is important, with pristine capes and scratch-free helmets being highly valued.

This Royal Guard minifigure appeared in only two sets, both of which are now retired. This limited availability contributes to its relative scarcity on the aftermarket. While not the rarest Star Wars minifigure, its presence in the popular Death Star Final Duel set has ensured consistent demand. It's more common than some exclusive promotional minifigs, but less so than those found in numerous readily available sets.
