Obi-Wan Kenobi, Old, Long Dark Brown Robe

This Obi-Wan Kenobi minifigure is highly sought after by collectors due to its portrayal of the aged Jedi Master as seen in the original Star Wars trilogy. The detailed printing on the torso and legs, representing his iconic Jedi robes, combined with the unique head print featuring gray beard and eyebrows, makes this a very recognizable and desirable minifigure. The inclusion of the light bluish gray hairpiece further enhances the minifigure's accuracy and appeal.

Collectors also value this minifigure because it appears in several popular, now-retired sets, including the Death Star and Mos Eisley Cantina. Owning this minifigure allows fans to recreate iconic scenes from the Star Wars saga and adds a valuable piece to any Star Wars minifigure collection. The overall design captures the essence of the character, making it a must-have for dedicated Star Wars enthusiasts.

This version of Obi-Wan Kenobi is moderately rare. It appears in four sets, all of which have been retired, increasing its desirability and value on the aftermarket. While not a limited-edition or exclusive regional release, its presence in the popular Death Star set contributes to its higher demand. The production years span from 2014 to 2018, giving it a relatively short production window compared to some other Star Wars minifigures. Finding this minifigure in excellent condition may require some searching, contributing to its perceived rarity among collectors.
