Space Police III - Craniac

The Space Police III Craniac minifigure is a standout due to its striking design and unique molded head. Its menacing skull-like appearance, complete with red eyes and white fangs, makes it a highly desirable addition to any LEGO Space collection. The detailed printing on the torso, depicting a muscular outline and gold skull, further enhances its appeal.

Collectors appreciate that Craniac represents one of the alien antagonists from the Space Police III theme, adding depth and character to the Space Police universe. The minifigure's relative scarcity, appearing in only one set, also contributes to its collectibility, making it a sought-after piece for those aiming to complete their Space Police lineups.

Craniac's rarity stems primarily from its exclusive appearance in the 'Space Police Central' set (5985-1). This set, released in 2010 and now retired, was the sole source for obtaining this particular minifigure. While not a limited edition in the traditional sense, the single set appearance makes Craniac relatively less common than minifigures appearing in multiple sets. Aftermarket availability is moderate, with prices reflecting its desirability and limited original distribution.
