Garbage Man Dan

Garbage Man Dan is a unique minifigure from The LEGO Movie theme, instantly recognizable with his cheerful, slightly off-kilter expression and detailed garbage worker uniform. Collectors appreciate the novelty of a 'working class' minifigure in a world often dominated by heroes and villains. His exclusive head print and torso design make him a standout piece.

The appeal of Garbage Man Dan also stems from the popularity of The LEGO Movie itself. As a memorable character from a beloved film, he benefits from nostalgia and the desire to complete a collection of minifigures from the movie. Condition is key, as collectors will look for minifigures with minimal wear to the printing on the torso and legs.

Garbage Man Dan is relatively rare due to his inclusion in only one set: the now-retired Trash Chomper (70805-1). This limited availability has contributed to his desirability among collectors. While not a regional exclusive, the retirement of the set means that new, sealed versions of Garbage Man Dan are no longer entering the market, further increasing his scarcity.
