Hula Lula (CMF)

Hula Lula was introduced as part of The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part Collectible Minifigure Series (71023) in 2019. Capturing the hyper-vibrant, pop-inspired aesthetic of the Systar System, this minifigure stands out thanks to its energetic lime and magenta color palette. Collectors of both movie-themed figures and blind-bag series appreciate her unique combination of retro Hawaiian flair and modern pop star styling.

The figure boasts several exclusive components that drive collector interest. Her dual-sided head features two expressive, freckled smiles, while her striking lime green ponytail includes dark pink highlighted print. She also features printed legs with molded magenta swimwear and painted sandals, paired with a distinct bright green six-point grass skirt element and a printed lei torso.

When assessing condition on the secondary market, pay close attention to the lime green hairpiece and grass skirt. The printed streak on the hair is prone to rub-wear if stored loosely with other bricks, and the flexible grass skirt can crease or tear at the connection holes if improperly handled or repeatedly removed from the hip joint.

Hula Lula was exclusively available in blind-bag packaging as part of the 2019 CMF Series (71023-7). She was distributed with a standard ratio of three per full 60-count display box, making her moderately common during the series' initial shelf life.

Since the retirement of The LEGO Movie 2 CMF line at the end of 2019, sealed packets and complete mint figures have steadily left the primary market. Because her core parts were never reissued in standard retail sets, obtaining a complete, undamaged version relies entirely on the aftermarket.
