Kai with Hair and Scabbard (Tournament of Elements)

This Kai minifigure from the Tournament of Elements subtheme is desirable for Ninjago collectors due to its unique hairpiece and scabbard, which are not commonly found on other Kai minifigures. The detailed printing on the torso, including the fire power emblem and kunai knives, adds to its appeal. As a key character in the Ninjago series, any unique variant of Kai is likely to attract attention from fans.

The inclusion of the bandana neckwear is also a nice touch, distinguishing it further from standard Kai minifigures. Condition is always a factor, with figures in excellent condition commanding higher prices. Minifigures with intact printing and no scratches are particularly prized by collectors.

This particular Kai minifigure is considered relatively rare due to its limited availability; it only appears in one promotional set, 891609-1. Given that this set was a promotional item and is now retired, the minifigure's availability is constrained. This limited release contributes to its desirability among collectors seeking to complete their Ninjago minifigure collections.
