Plant Monster

The Plant Monster minifigure is a standout from the LEGO Minifigures Series 14, themed around monsters. Its unique Venus flytrap headpiece and detailed torso and leg printing immediately grab attention, making it a desirable piece for collectors of the Collectible Minifigure Series (CMF). The bright colors and whimsical design contribute to its appeal, especially for those who enjoy the more lighthearted and creative side of LEGO.

As a limited-release CMF, the Plant Monster benefits from the inherent collectibility associated with the series. Collectors often seek to complete entire series, driving demand for individual figures like this one. The figure's relative rarity, compared to standard LEGO sets, further enhances its desirability. Mint condition, sealed figures are particularly prized, as is the original leaflet included in the blind bag.

The Plant Monster appeared exclusively in the LEGO Minifigures Series 14, released in 2015. This means its availability was limited to the production run of that particular series. While Series 14 was widely distributed, the blind-bag nature of the CMF line introduced an element of chance, making specific figures like the Plant Monster less common than others. It's not a regional exclusive or special edition, but its single appearance contributes to its scarcity on the aftermarket.
