Animal Control Officer

The Animal Control Officer minifigure is a desirable addition to any LEGO City collection, particularly for those who enjoy creating realistic urban environments. Its appeal lies in its relatability and the everyday-hero aspect of the job. The unique sand green uniform and accessories, like the radio, add a distinctive touch, making it stand out from typical City figures.

Collectors often seek this minifigure to populate their LEGO City layouts, adding a sense of realism and narrative. The detailed printing on the torso, including the badge and pockets, enhances its visual appeal. The ponytail hairpiece is also a sought-after element, as it's not overly common and adds character to the minifigure.

This minifigure appears in only one set, the LEGO Minifigure Series 15 (71011-8), making it a relatively less common find compared to minifigures appearing in multiple sets. As a blind-bag series figure, obtaining the Animal Control Officer required either luck or aftermarket purchase. The series has been retired for several years, increasing the rarity of sealed figures and complete sets, which indirectly impacts the availability of this minifigure.
