ADU Soldier, Snarl / Surprised, Dark Bluish Gray Hips

The ADU Soldier is a desirable minifigure for LEGO Alien Conquest collectors due to its unique torso and leg printing, which clearly identifies it as part of the Alien Defense Unit. The snarling face print adds character, making it more appealing than a generic smile. The ADU theme itself has a nostalgic following, as it was a short-lived but memorable LEGO series featuring cool vehicles and alien designs.

Condition is important for collectors of this minifigure, as the torso printing is prone to wear. Mint or near-mint condition figures command a premium. Completeness, including the helmet and visor, also impacts value.

This ADU Soldier is relatively uncommon, appearing in only two sets, both of which were released in 2011 and are now retired. While not a limited edition or regional exclusive, its limited set appearances contribute to its scarcity on the aftermarket compared to minifigures from larger, longer-running themes.

The availability of individual parts on the secondary market can affect the price of a complete minifigure. If specific parts, such as the torso or helmet, are scarce, the complete figure becomes more valuable.
