Skydiver

The Skydiver minifigure is a desirable collectible due to its unique design and the inherent appeal of the Collectible Minifigures (CMF) series. The lime green color scheme, combined with the dark azure accents and parachute harness print, makes it visually striking and memorable. Collectors appreciate the attention to detail, such as the scared expression on the minifigure's face, which adds character and storytelling potential.

As part of a numbered CMF series, the Skydiver benefits from the completist mentality of many LEGO collectors. Securing a complete Series 9 is a common goal, making each individual minifigure within the series sought after. The skydiver's accessories, including the backpack and helmet, contribute to its collectibility by offering unique elements not found in other sets.

The Skydiver minifigure appears exclusively in the Series 9 of the LEGO Collectible Minifigures, released in 2013. This limited availability contributes to its rarity, as it was only obtainable through blind bags during its initial release. While not the rarest CMF, its age and the fact that the series is now retired mean that finding unopened or mint condition figures can be challenging. Aftermarket availability is good, but prices reflect its collectibility.
