Revolutionary Soldier

The Revolutionary Soldier minifigure is a desirable collectible due to its historical theme and unique design elements. This figure captures the essence of soldiers from the American Revolutionary War era, making it appealing to history buffs and LEGO enthusiasts alike. The detailed torso printing, featuring the iconic crossed belts and red placket, adds to its visual appeal and collectibility.

The inclusion of a unique hairpiece, the white long hair tied back with a ribbon, further enhances its distinctiveness. Collectors often seek out minifigures with exclusive or rare parts, and this hairpiece contributes to the figure's overall value. The minifigure's relatively limited availability, appearing in only one set, also makes it more sought after by serious collectors looking to complete their historical or LEGO minifigure collections.

This Revolutionary Soldier minifigure's rarity stems from its exclusive appearance in the LEGO Minifigures Series 10, specifically as one of the 16 standard characters in the blind bags. While not a limited edition in the traditional sense, the blind bag distribution method inherently creates a degree of rarity, as collectors often have to purchase multiple bags to acquire the specific figure they desire. The set (71001-12) was retired, so no more are being produced. The overall availability on the aftermarket is moderate, but demand from collectors keeps prices relatively stable. Some might consider the 'Mr. Gold' chase figure from the same series as impacting the perceived rarity of the other figures.
