Santa, Plain Red with Dark Bluish Gray Legs, and Back Basket

This Santa minifigure is a charming and festive addition to any LEGO City collection, particularly for those who enjoy holiday-themed builds. Its simple design, featuring a plain red torso and dark bluish gray legs, gives it a classic, almost retro, feel. The inclusion of a back basket adds a unique touch, hinting at Santa's gift-giving duties. The yellow head with the classic grin is a nostalgic element for long-time LEGO fans.

Collectors often seek out Advent Calendar minifigures due to their limited availability and the joy of discovering them each day leading up to Christmas. The condition of the beard and hat are important to collectors, as these pieces can show wear with age.

This Santa minifigure appears exclusively in the 2011 City Advent Calendar (7553-1). While Advent Calendars are produced annually, the specific minifigures within each calendar vary, making this particular Santa relatively scarce compared to more common City minifigures. Its production was limited to a single year, further contributing to its rarity on the aftermarket.
