Racer, Extreme Team, Black Jacket, Green Legs, Blue Cap, Yellow Life Vest

The Extreme Team Racer minifigure is a nostalgic piece from the late 90s, appealing to collectors who appreciate the unique styling and vibrant colors of that era. Its distinct black jacket with the red 'X' logo, combined with the blue cap and yellow life vest, makes it instantly recognizable. The minifigure's relative simplicity adds to its charm, harking back to a time before highly detailed prints and specialized parts became the norm.

For LEGO enthusiasts who grew up with the Extreme Team theme, this racer represents a tangible connection to their childhood. Finding one in excellent condition, with minimal wear to the torso print and accessories, is a key goal for collectors. The life vest, in particular, is prone to yellowing, so a pristine example is highly desirable.

This minifigure appears in only one set, the Extreme Team Raft (2537-1) released in 1998. This single set appearance automatically increases its rarity compared to minifigures that appear in multiple sets. Given the age of the set and the fact that it has been retired for over two decades, finding this minifigure in good condition can be challenging.

While not a limited edition or promotional item, the limited production run of the Extreme Team Raft set contributes to its relative scarcity on the aftermarket. It's not the rarest minifigure in the LEGO world, but its single set appearance makes it less common than many other figures from the same period.
