Robber with Tattered Green Vest

The Robber with Tattered Green Vest is a classic LEGO Castle minifigure that evokes a sense of nostalgia for collectors who grew up with the theme in the late 1990s. The tattered green vest print, combined with the angry-looking face and black ninja helmet, creates a memorable and distinct villainous character.

This minifigure is desirable because it represents a key part of the classic Castle theme, specifically the sub-theme that featured ninja-like antagonists. Collectors often seek to complete their factions and armies, making this robber a necessary addition for those focused on the late '90s Castle era. The fig's condition is important to collectors, with those in pristine condition commanding a premium.

This minifigure appears in 8 sets released between 1998 and 1999, suggesting a decent production run for its time. However, given the age of these sets, finding the minifigure in excellent condition can be challenging. It was not a regional exclusive or a special edition, but its limited production timeframe contributes to its relative scarcity on the aftermarket compared to more modern minifigures. While not exceedingly rare, it's not the easiest minifigure to find in top-notch condition.
