What's others opinions on this?

So I have the old ucs BB8, I bought it off eBay 2nd hand for £80 (still great condition)! I believe it also retailed for a similar price. It looks great, has 1100 pieces, was an okay build experience, but still fun. And has some nice finishing touches. What happened? Lego are now going to sell a smaller version that looks arguably worse bcus it's supposed to be too scale with the C3P0 and R2D2.... For the same price as the old one? Nahhh. I think it's super scummy. Just wanted to here other...
