To buy, or not to buy?

I have been a massive Ninjago fan since I was young. I still collect the sets as an adult, and will still play with them. Now when this set got announced, I really wanted it, but I’m a broke college girl. And it turns out it is too expensive for my parents to get it for a holiday. HOWEVER as of recent i have slipped back into depression, and mom tried to cheer me up by giving me $500 to spend on something fun. My question for those who have this set, is it worth it?
