[MOC] Hindenburg 1:800 scale model airship

Designed by me, this is a 1:800 scale model of the Hindenburg, the most famous and infamous airship of the 1930s. The model is a little slenderer than it should be in real life, but given the model's small size (30 cm / 12 in. long) certain sacrifices of detail had to be made. The model has a strong technic core which keeps it straight and sturdy, and the stand nestles tight within the airship's belly close to its center of gravity so that it stays level and balanced.
