Lego Harry Potter sealed from 25 years ago
A LEGO Harry Potter set from 2001, still sealed, was recently discovered, highlighting the enduring appeal and collectibility of older LEGO sets. The find, made by Reddit user /u/PlatformHuge9642, underscores the potential value of vintage LEGO sets and the possibility of rare finds in unexpected places.
The set's age, dating back approximately 25 years, makes it a particularly noteworthy discovery. The original poster mentioned the rarity of finding such a set still sealed, and the difficulty in locating similar sales on eBay. This suggests the set could be quite valuable to collectors. The user also noted they acquired the set at a relatively low price.
This discovery prompts speculation about other vintage LEGO sets that may be tucked away in attics or garages. For LEGO enthusiasts, it serves as a reminder of the hobby's longevity and the potential for uncovering hidden treasures.
If you're a LEGO collector, you might want to consider a LEGO display case to showcase your prized sets.
Fair enough 2001 may not seem to long ago for some people But I came across this set still sealed and didn’t realise how old it was until I looked it up. Probably quite rare to come across one of these still new and sealed from 25 years ago and can’t find to many sales on eBay either. Makes me wonder what people still have just sitting in their loft/garage ( bought it for quite low too) submitted by /u/PlatformHuge9642 [link] [comments]
