I built a website that shows which LEGO parts go in which numbered bag

A new website called Bricks per Bag has launched, offering LEGO fans a free resource to see which parts belong in each numbered bag for various LEGO sets. This tool is designed to help builders sort sets, verify completeness, and enhance the building experience.

The website currently features over 100 sets, primarily from 2025 and 2026, with 150+ pieces. Users can search by set number or name and filter by theme. Each bag's contents are displayed with images, colors, and quantities. A "check mode" allows users to track their progress by ticking off parts, which is especially useful for verifying a set's completeness. Users can also download the bag breakdown as a PDF for offline use.

The data is sourced from official LEGO instruction PDFs, with part images rendered using LeoCAD and Rebrickable. The site is still in beta, and the creator is manually verifying each set, which takes about 20 minutes per set. The goal is to automate the process to include sets from the last 20 years. Users can request sets to be added and report any errors.
