Can we call it quits on "shall open it?" posts?

I'll start by saying, yes it's interesting to see when someone has found an old set that was never opened or played with. It's a rarity for sure. What really gets me is the repetition of it all. The posts are all the same, usually someone gloating or feigned surprise by how much it's worth. The comments are all the same "short answer, no" and the "congrats, happy for you" meme.
