Alt build/modified Republic y-wing

A LEGO fan has created a modified version of Captain Rex's Republic Y-wing Starfighter, sharing their build and modifications with the LEGO community. The builder, /u/MidnightWise4025, posted their creation, including a link to instructions for the alternate build.

The builder, who owns both the 2016 and 2025 U-wing sets, preferred the older version, leading them to keep the newer set out of display. They then found an alternate build for Captain Rex's Y-wing and made their own modifications to the original design. The builder was pleased with the results and decided to share them with other LEGO enthusiasts.
