75389 - Thoughts on the dark falcon as an investment?
The LEGO community is buzzing with speculation about whether the recently released set 75389, the Dark Falcon, will increase in value over time. The discussion centers on whether this set, featuring exclusive minifigures like Darth Vader and Jar Jar Binks, could be a good investment for LEGO enthusiasts.
Many believe the set might appreciate in value due to the inclusion of exclusive characters and the fact that it's a new version of the iconic Millennium Falcon. However, some are hesitant, noting that it's not a UCS (Ultimate Collector Series) set and doesn't have an anniversary-exclusive element, which often drive up the value of LEGO sets. The discussion is particularly relevant for collectors in Canada, where the market dynamics might differ from those in the United States.
The set's potential as an investment hinges on several factors, including the popularity of the included characters, the overall demand for Star Wars LEGO sets, and the set's availability in the market. The Dark Falcon's unique features and the exclusivity of its minifigures could make it a sought-after item for collectors.
Whether you're considering purchasing set 75389 as an investment or simply for enjoyment, it's worth researching the current market trends and the popularity of the included characters. If you decide to add it to your collection, you might want to consider a LEGO display case to protect and showcase your investment.

But still all the characters are currently exclusive and it’s a new falcon version. Just wanted to hear ppl’s thoughts, to base if I should grab it or not. I’m also in Canada so it’s more for me kind of compared to US submitted by /u/Free-Coffee-6061 [link] ...
